Van Aroma, which was established in 2006, has advanced to take the top spot in Indonesian Aroma Molecules, Botanical Extracts and Essential Oils market. Our transparency with clients and vendors is a strength and differentiator for us. High-quality ingredients are produced at the source thanks to our vertical integration of raw material supply with sites throughout Indonesia. Our initial facility was established in Padang, West Sumatra. It was here that Botanical Extract, Benzoin Sugar, Benzoin Absolute, Alpha Humulene, Benzyl Isoeugenol, Beta-Caryophyllene, Citronellol Natural, Essential Oil, and other products were first standardised. At the time of our founding, the two products we offered were Nutmeg Oil and Patchouli Oil. We swiftly expanded our offerings to include products from Sulawesi and Java thanks to our meticulous planning. We expanded our Jakarta factory in 2009 by adding a second facility to meet the increasing demand for our products.

This growth enabled us to concentrate on manufacturing more standardised, refined products, including the various Patchouli Oil and Clove Oil derivatives. Our infrastructure has now grown to incorporate steam distillation units, solvent extraction, reaction units, and supercritical fluid extraction, to name a few. We have also increased the size of our employees.

Our Products

At our core is the formulation of unique fragrance and flavor elements. Despite the fact that our roots are in essential oils, we have since broadened our range to include a variety of CO2 Extracts, Oleoresins and Absolutes made from Indonesian botanicals. Using the greatest technology and a committed crew are our main priorities.

Our Infrastructure

Modern technologies and infrastructure are available at our facilities, including SCFE CO2 Extraction, Molecular Distillation Units, Fractional Distillation Units, Solvent Extraction Units, Reaction Units, Steam Distillation Units, and specialised equipment required to provide premium grades that are put through quality control processes to ensure that the product standards are consistent and optimal.

Our Story

Van Aroma was started on May 24, 2006
We moved our headquarters to Gunung Putri, Bogor, in 2009
We opened a new specialised product temperature-controlled storage facility in 2011
We put CRM and ERP tools to use to streamline business operations in 2017.
Completely automated CO2 supercritical fluid extraction was installed and put into operation in 2018 (Capacity:2X5L System)
We set up independent sales and marketing alongside global team in 2019
We received Primaniyarta Award in 2021
We again received Primaniyarta Award in 2022
We are launching Van Aroma Kolaka Phase 2 in 2023
